The Head of Operations, Pharmacy will have direct supervisory responsibility for the team, leading the day-to-day of operations, and will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying quality improvement and cost containment opportunities, and ensuring the pharmacy operates with strict operating discipline that delivers consistently high-quality results and outcomes across the enterprise.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations to ensure high-quality medication delivery to patients with low tolerance for errors, high degree of accuracy, and speed to medication dispensing.
• Oversee purchasing, inventory, order processing, utilization, distribution of products and services, ensuring services are in compliance with professional quality standards, state and federal regulatory requirements.
• Monitor, evaluate and present data including monthly reporting of trends for drug utilization and drug costs.
• Develop, implement, improve, and enforce policies and procedures
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver strategic guidance and support.
• Oversee enterprise-wide pharmacy, and ensures training, development, communication, discipline of all pharmacy staff. Maintains staffing levels within established guidelines as needed.
• Creates regular reporting packages for all inventory-related services across the enterprise.

• Experience working in a fulfillment center is strongly preferred.

Education And Experience Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Stem field 
• MBA preferred
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience with pharmacy inventory management or process improvement in a health care delivery setting or equivalent experience
