Mobridge Regional Hospital & Clinics is Hiring a Pharmacy Technician Near Mobridge, SD
Mobridge Regional Hospital is looking for a full-time or part-time (to move to full-time) Pharmacy Technician to assist the hospital pharmacists in performing routine duties in the hospital pharmacy setting. The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for processing medications and assisting all members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal medication use. Job duties include inventory control, sterile compounding, care of supplies and equipment, management of automation systems and other duties as assigned by the pharmacist and pharmacy leadership.
Customer Service skills are needed to work with physicians, nurses and other hospital staff members. Strong computer and typing skills are required and knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
The hospital will work with employees to gain technician certification within two years of being in the position if they have no previous experience.
Applicants should have an excellent work history or school commitments.
This position is a Monday - Friday opportunity as a MRH employee.
