The Product Shipment and Inventory Control Supervisor supports Production and Logistics Team through managing subordinates, developing logistic plans, warehouse mapping, maintaining documentation of the department, monitoring powered industrial vehicles, and maintaining physical inventory control.

This role will work for MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC. (MNAe).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Develop Logistic plans for receiving, unpacking, feeding, warehouse mapping and dock control.
• Meet daily goals through continuous improvement and teamwork.

• Assure that all work is performed within specifications.
• Supervise the work of Logistics Team Leads and Team Members.
• Perform inventory transactions in SAP as required.
• Maintain all Logistics equipment staffing and audits such as Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV).
• Monitor MRP process and daily requirements.
• Identify cost and productivity opportunities and manage implementations.
• Create and maintain a positive working environment that supports having a union-free workplace.
• Provide direction to Team Leads and all warehouse staff (e.g. receiving schedules, unpacking, line feeding, housekeeping, etc.)
• Assist in the setup and maintenance for an accurate inventory control system.
• Monitor and enforce compliance of procedures in warehouse within and outside of department (e.g. material handlers leaving materials and packaging in a neat and organized manner).
• All other duties as assigned by management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

Preferred Education & Experience :

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Industrial System Engineering
• Experience in automotive assembly / manufacturing logistics field
• Logistics or Inventory Management background preferred
• Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience developing and managing Team Members
• Plant start-up experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :

• Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a positive attitude

• Fluent with standard MS Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

Preferred Education & Experience :

• 1-3 years of experience in Just In Sequence related logistics in Automotive industry
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean Manufacturing techniques
• Results-oriented written and verbal communication skills
• Time management skills
• Ability to manage to change priorities and employ sound business judgment
• Ability to work with and develop inventory control procedures metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, throughput, costs)
• Proven interpersonal and team-building skills

Working Conditions :

• Incumbent works 8 to 10-hour shifts with occasional weekend assignments
• The employee may need to move around the production floor frequently
• Weekend overtime to support inventory audit when needed
• Overtime may be required as needed
