Position: Reconditioning Technician
Job Description:
The Reconditioning Technician plays a crucial role in our organization. They are responsible for inspecting and removing electronic gas and brake systems, digitally controlled joystick driving systems, and adaptive equipment from vehicles. Key duties include reading and completing tasks as communicated through written service orders, troubleshooting equipment and/or adaptations, ensuring high-quality work in adherence to company standards, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Essential Job Functions and Duties:
- Read and complete tasks as communicated through written service orders.
- Remove adaptive equipment from vehicles that have been previously installed.
- Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment and/or adaptations.
- Complete all jobs within acceptable time limits.
Position Qualifications and Entrance Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Diagnostic experience in the automotive industry.
- Solid electrical and/or automotive wiring experience.
- Experience working with hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Excellent customer service skills and experience required.
- Solid verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.
- Experience working independently with minimal supervision required.
- Candidates must successfully complete a criminal and motor vehicle background check and pre-employment drug screening.
