U.S. Upfitters a division of Driverge Vehicle Innovations, is seeking a 12 Volt Electrical Accessory Installer. We provide a great work life balance with regular business hours so you can be home spending time with family or doing what you love most! This position is responsible for installation of 12 Volt Electrical items such as Power Inverters-Strobe Lights- Lift Gates – and other types of truck and van equipment.

What you get to accomplish:

Knowledge of 12 Volt vehicle electrical systems
Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
Ability to use hand and power tools and good mechanical skills.
Read individual work order, assemble any equipment as needed prior to the install.
Conduct final quality inspection to ensure all components have been tested and installed properly
Maintain a clean, safe and well-organized work area
Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned
Knowledge of jobsite safety, ability to oversee work activities to ensure safe work practices
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Possess good communication skills

What you should have:

Previous electrical and mechanical experience or completion of an accredited trade/technical school.
ASE Certification is preferred.
Welding experience is a plus.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Valid/Active Driver's license required.

Location Hours/Shifts:

Illinois 8hr shifts, Monday-Friday between 7a-4:30p local
