Mobile Therapy Centers (MTC) are a private practice with a progressive service delivery model, where the therapists come to the client. Over the last 17 years, Mobile Therapy Centers has evolved from a single therapist offering a single service to employing over 100 health professionals, who provide a multitude of high-quality customized therapeutic services (ABA Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Behavioral Therapy and Counseling) for children, teens, adults, and families. Mobile Therapy Centers (MTC) is looking for Billing Specialist for our Multi-Disciplinary (Speech, Occupational and Behavioral) department.

The Billing Specialist will assist Multi-Disciplinary (Speech, Occupational and Behavioral) department entering, disputing, and responding to Multi-Disciplinary (Speech, Occupational and Behavioral) Therapy Claims. The position will work closely with the Relationship Manager, Clinicians on-site, and maintain accurate up to date client files. He/she will also regularly communicate with insurance companies, clients, and therapists to resolve discrepancies. This position is required to be on-site.

Essential Duties: Responsibilities

· Identify and develop new billing / claim processes for Multi-Disciplinary (Speech, Occupational and Behavioral) Claims.

·Attend weekly meetings and Assist the MD Relationship Manager.

· Set up automation for payment application and maintain process. Send out monthly statements.

· Submit and monitor client medical records, authorizations, and claims for the Multidisciplinary Department.

· Research and resolve outstanding claim issues and collections. Prepare appeals for denied claims.

· Meet with Clinicians on site regarding billing issues or concerns.

· Prepare medical records and other documents requested by insurance carriers

· Applying payments from insurance companies to client’s accounts in CRM.

· Assist with updating discrepancies and correct issues

· Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

· 3 plus years Multi-Disciplinary (Speech, Occupational and Behavioral) Therapy claims experience is required in healthcare insurance industry.

· Advanced communication and organizational skills

· Computer proficiency skills: Google docs, Microsoft, Excel, EMR, Thera bill.

· Ability to function independently with minimal supervision

· Customer| Client focus (internal/external)

· Display a consistently positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous, be able to work on a team, and possess a professional attitude

· Medical Billing Certificates a PLUS!!

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
