Mobile Therapy Centers of America is Hiring a Clinical Director - Counseling Dept (LCPC, LCSW, QMHP) Near Libertyville, IL

Mobile Therapy Centers (MTC) are a private practice with a progressive service delivery model, where the therapists come to the client. Over the last 17 years, Mobile Therapy Centers has evolved from a single therapist offering a single service to employing over 100 health professionals, who provide a multitude of high-quality customized therapeutic services (ABA Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Behavioral Therapy and Counseling) for children, teens, adults, and families.

Mobile Therapy Centers (MTC) is looking for a BH Department Clinical Director. This position is responsible for overseeing the BH Department and the execution and implementation of Clinical Programs’ strategy and goals and the oversight of Clinical Programs’ operations. The incumbent oversees the effective integration and continuous improvement of processes and systems to meet MTC’s current and future business goals. Responsibilities also include managing and developing a team of clinical and support staff promoting their professional growth and operational effectiveness. Maintain caseload productivity requirements (adjusted based on offsite client responsibilities) within clinic/telesession anticipated avg 20 hours/week completed sessions, may be adjusted based on supervision.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Direct Treatment Duties:

· Provide direct screening/consultation, evaluation, treatment and support of social/emotional disorders to clients on caseload.

· Complete and finalize daily and quarterly documentation associated with respective dates of service.

Direct Management Duties:

· Assign clients to counseling department team members based on provider experience and weighted caseload.

· Participate in development of clinical program’s strategy and planning in accordance with company's mission and strategic goals, federal and state law and regulations, and accreditation standards of NASW and ACA.

  • Assist in the selection and ongoing training, evaluation, and development of professional team members.
  • Provide team member training and performance review of job functions, which may include: preauthorization, client case management, retrospective claim review, supervision, discharge procedures and delegated management oversight.
  • Reports abuse, neglect, domestic violence and other required cases to appropriate authorities and provides education and guidance to other mandated reporters when they encounter abuse and neglect patient cases.
  • Documents and participates in follow up discussion regarding unusual occurrences and client relations issues; makes appropriate referrals to HR & other internal departments.
  • Participate in the development and monitoring of budgets in accordance with department and organizational objectives.
  • Training and supervision of new (discipline specific) department staff on procedures and general workplace policies (as needed).
  • Weekly meeting with department leadership members to collaborate and review caseload status and clinical department goals accordingly.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the department's performance standards, utilizing quality improvement methodologies to refine procedures & policies as required.
  • Foster collaborative work environment that encourages team building, facilitates cohesive synergetic performance of department functions, while valuing the individual diversity and uniqueness of all employees.
  • Maintains current knowledge of resources available in the community to support a continuum of effective services for the clients.
  • Contribute discipline specific content to across internal MTC departments to increase awareness, collaboration and respect of multidisciplinary approach to wellness.
  • Build and maintain cooperative business relationships.

Technical Requirements – Education, Areas of Knowledge and Experience:

· Master’s degree in Related Field

· Active Permanent State License

· 5 years of supervision experience

· CPR Certification

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements of the Job:

· Driving between client visits and facilities.

· Lifting/transporting therapy materials (i.e., evaluation materials, toys, and manipulatives).

· De-escalate and manage challenging clients, including but not limited to, that may bite, kick, scream, pull hair or throw objects; able to manage adaptive skills of client (toilet training, grooming, feeding)

· Able to work with multiple ages, genders and cognitive levels
