Shift Notes : Monday - Friday : 7 : 30a-4 : 30p (40 Hour Guarantee)

Weekend Requirements : No Weekends

On-Call Requirements : No Call

Clinic Responsibilities :

• Perform clinical and clerical tasks to assist with the management of patient flow throughout the clinic
• Standard rooming processes
• Giving medications as directed by provider (medications are minimal in cardiology and no immunizations / injections are given)
• Provide telephone support
• Facilitate communication between patients and providers
• Assist with medication refills
• Perform phlebotomy duties (training can be provided)
• Stocking supplies / rooms
• Perform EKGs

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 1-year experience in a patient-care setting - Required
• Previous Clinic Work - Highly Preferred
• EKG Experience - Preferred
• EHR Experience - Preferred
• Blood Draw Experience - Preferred
• Medical Assistant Diploma - Required
• MA Diploma must be from a program that meets accreditation standards from either CAAHEP or ABHES
• BLS (AHA or ARC) - Required
