General InformationThis position reports to Federal Programs Non-Public Schools. It involves tutoring only Targeted Assistance individual students and/or Targeted Assistance small groups.
The Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
ParasMust have 48 hours of completed college coursework.
SUBJECTS: Reading / Mathematics K-8
Salary Range: From/To Tutors - $30.00 per hour (not to exceed 19 hours per week). Paras - $10.00 per hour (not to exceed 19 hours per week).

**Applicants selected for classified positions must undergo (or have undergone) an ABI/FBI criminal history background check (fingerprinting administered through sites selected and approved by the MCPSS and State of Alabama Education Department) and be declared suitable and fit to teach under state law. Applicants selected must also pass a drug-screening test via forms provided by Human Resources during the selection process.**

- Establishes objectives and plans learning experiences for Targeted Assistance individual and/or Targeted Assistance small group of students.
- Implements activities using a variety of techniques that utilize instructional time to meet objectives.
- Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior to achieve a functional learning atmosphere for Targeted Assistance students.
- Exhibits positive human relationship skills.
- Evaluates the Title I educational program and /or Targeted Assistance student progress.
- Communicates with parents/guardians and colleagues of Targeted Assisted students.
- Demonstrates proficiency in written and oral communication.
- Maintains high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about Targeted Assistance students.
- Participates in in-service training programs as assigned.
- Assumes any and all other responsibilities assigned by the Executive Director of Federal and Special Programs and her designated staff.
