Moa Coffee Inc. is Hiring a Coffee Barista Near Astoria, NY
Moa Coffee is dedicated to provide customers a captivating coffee experience based on quality products, engaging atmosphere and excellent customer service.
We are looking for a Part Time or Full Time Barista with experience in independent specialty coffee shops or a coffee chain.
Depending on availability, we are currently looking to schedule for one of our 3 locations: Astoria, Sunnyside or Woodside.
The base hourly wage ranges from $15 to $18 plus cash & credit card tips. Tips average $8 to $12 per hour in addition to base pay. So baristas will average a minimum of $21 to $25 an hour with potential to make more!
Baristas may also be responsible for simple food items such as bagels. The barista will also be making a variety of non coffee related beverages.
Candidates must have:
- Excellent customer service
- Must be reliable
- Positive, Friendly and Customer First attitude
- Efficient and Effective serving of customers
- Comfortable working alone in shop
- Master the art of the coffee shop experience and operation
- Latte art ability (Preferred)
- Worked with La Colombe Coffee in previous employment (Preferred)
- Consistent punctual attendance (mandatory)
- 2 years of experience (Preferred)
- NYC Food Protection Certificate by the Department of Health (Preferred)
