Responsibilities

• Perform advanced-level service, maintenance, and repairs on various models of commercial garage doors and associated equipment, including but not limited to, overhead doors, roll-up doors, sectional doors, dock levelers, and loading dock equipment
• Diagnose complex mechanical issues and develop effective solutions to ensure functionality and safety
• Provide the commercial service team with guidance, field training, and on occasion supervision, ensuring work is performed to our high standards
• Utilize a wide range of hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and software to diagnose, repair, and test garage door systems
• Always adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations

Competencies for Success

• High school diploma or the equivalent – additional technical certifications is a plus
• Proven experience in Commercial Garage Door Service
• Strong working knowledge of various types of commercial garage doors, including their components, operating systems, and safety mechanisms
• Ability to transfer knowledge to fellow commercial service team members
• Proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Physically able to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and perform duties in various weather conditions
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time and priorities well
• Knowledgeable about safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
