Responsibilities include taking food orders, keeping a tidy work area, preparing food, washing dishes, knowing proper handling of food items and kitchen policies, and other required and necessary duties to keep the operation running smoothly. As a team member, you will also be able to be a grill cook - responsible for cooking and preparing our meats.You will be keeping our supply of steak and chicken fresh and ready for our customers to enjoy. Maintain a clean and organized grill area, including proper storage and labeling of food items. Monitor food inventory and notify management when supplies are running low. Ensure that all food items are cooked to the appropriate temperatureand served in a timely manner. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling and storage of raw meats and other ingredients. Assist with cleaning and maintenance tasks in the kitchen as needed. Any other duties as needed to assist in the operation of the restaurant.
Some kitchen/restaurant experience is preferred, but we are happy to train eager candidates that are ready to learn and grow. If this sounds like something you could see yourself being part of, apply today.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 18 years old
Must be authorized to work in the US
Must have a valid driver's license
Restaurant experience preferred
WORKINGCONDITIONS
Positionrequiresqualifiedindividualstobe able to see,hearandspeak(verballyandaudibly).Requiredtoascendand descend stairs; sit and stand for extended periods of time, be able to lift upto 30 pounds, bend, stoop and kneel. May berequiredto work outside in various weatherconditions.May be requiredto work on a computer for extended periods of time, including viewing the screen, using a mouse, manipulating a keyboard with hands, and reaching with arms. May be asked to drive or travel by car, air, or other transportation for business purposes. Must beable to function effectively in a fast-paced working environment. Must be able to report to work responsive, free from sedatives,andinanon-sedativestate. Must discloseprescribed and/or over-the-counter pharmaceuticalsthat may impairoraffectthe ability to performthejob'sessentialfunctions.Naturalandregularstressorsoccuronthejob.
