As a Systems Project Manager (Systems PM) at MNTN, your role will be pivotal in managing our intake process, triaging and overseeing incidents, service requests, and features, and leading systems optimization projects, a key aspect of enhancing our operational capabilities. This position is about project management expertise and technical acumen and your proactive approach to problem-solving, which is crucial for our continued success.

What you will do: 

• Manage the intake process for all requests, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
• Triage and prioritize incidents, service requests, and features based on impact and urgency.
• Lead cross-functional teams to address incidents and fulfill service requests promptly.
• Plan, execute, and monitor systems optimization projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Serve as the dedicated Jira administrator for Operations, optimizing workflows and configurations to support team productivity.
• Act as the product owner and administrator for Asana, ensuring alignment with project management best practices and organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and track progress against deliverables.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Mentor team members on Agile principles and practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Partner with the Systems team and support the administration and development of solutions to accommodate evolving business processes.
• Collaborate in gathering requirements and translating them into scalable solutions adhering to best practices, with a strong emphasis on enhancing user experience.
• Contribute to configuration changes aimed at automating processes, ensuring maintainability, and enhancing scalability.
• Participate in ongoing system administration activities, prioritizing data integrity and system reliability.

What you will have: 

• 5-6 years of project management experience, focusing on IT systems and operations using Agile methodologies.
• Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Jira administrator with a deep understanding of workflows, permissions, and customizations.
• Strong proficiency in Asana or similar project management tools, with experience as a product owner or administrator.
• Solid understanding of business analysis principles and techniques, with hands-on experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
