Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail setting.

Duties:

- Greet customers and provide them with assistance in finding products or answering their questions

- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to effectively communicate them to customers

- Assist in inventory management, including receiving and organizing merchandise shipments

- Perform basic math calculations to accurately calculate prices, discounts, and change for customers

- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions and track inventory

- Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to customers' needs and recommending appropriate products

- Upsell additional products or services to enhance the customer's shopping experience

- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations

Skills:

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating discounts

- Knowledge of retail math principles for inventory management

- Experience operating a cash register or POS system is preferred

- Ability to speak Spanish or other languages is a plus (multilingual)

- Technical sales knowledge is an advantage
