POSITION: MAINTENANCE / MAKE-READY TECHNICIAN

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform maintenance tasks as assigned.

· Complete work on Vacant units and Make-Ready for new move tenants in a timely and efficient manner.

· Diagnose and perform minor and routine maintenance/repair involving the following (as applicable): Electrical switches and fixtures, basic plumbing, Kitchen appliances, door locks, simple carpentry, and basic drywall.

· Ensure that all make‑ready repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule.

· Report all major repairs and requisitions to supervisor.

· Perform any additional duties assigned by Manager, Maintenance Supervisor or Property Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Basic repair skills.

· Working knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing systems.

· Experience using hand tools.

· Experience with drywall, paint, and basic carpentry.

· Self Motivated.

· Works equally as well as a team or alone with little supervision.

· Good communication skills.

· Willing to learn.

· Task oriented.

· Accepts direction and correction well.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $37,000.00 per year
