- Promotes safe and effective patient care.
- Communicates and interacts effectively with patients and families, physicians, peers, and other health team members to maximize successful patient outcomes.
- Assures clinical equipment is in working order and safe for use both for the patient and the staff.
- Assures documentation in the medical record is accurate and complete
- Adminsters injections as ordered and directed under supervision of Nursing staff
- Relays messages and information to patients the hospital staff and other physician offices
- Completes Special projects as designated.
- Demonstrates appropriate oral communication skills with office staff regarding patient needs.
- Demonstrates appropriate written Communication skills.
- Maintains confidentiality of all hospital records, staff and patient activities verbally, written and via the computer.
- Communicates in a positive manner.
- Participates in Staff development and education
