SUMMARY
The Radiologic Technologist will serve as a primary member of the Radiology Patient Care Team. He/she will maintain a comprehensive understanding of the program. The R.T. is responsible for all diagnostic radiology equipment operation and calibration processes. If in Pain Clinics or other clinic settings, the Radiologic Technologist will serve as a primary member of the Clinic Team and a secondary member of the Radiology Patient Care Team.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Professional knowledge of Radiology and practice at a level normally acquired through the completion of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Must be a registered Radiologic Technologist or registry eligible pass the registry within one year of hire.
Current BLS Healthcare Provider card.
If assigned to the Neuro-Alert Team, additional stroke education is required. Refer to Administrative Policy A-148 for education requirements.
