• Minimum 10-15 years of JC experience
• Experience in Retail / Commercial / Mixed Use projects
• Must be proficient in REVIT and ACAD
• Knowledge of acrobat software and Blue Beam.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills required.
• Must have strong knowledge of wood construction and detailing as well as both concrete and steel detailing. Must be able to provide architectural detailing of all types of buildings.
• Strong knowledge of current codes, regulations and be able to decipher code related questions / issues.
• Responsible for Construction Document preparation and coordination with project managers and consultants.
• Coordinate city requirements for implementation in the CD documents. Responsible for addressing plan check comments and coordination of all disciplines construction document work.
• Must be able to submit plans to governing municipalities, address and communicate with plan check engineers, planners and expeditors.
• Must be able to address project related construction issues, RFI's, review of shop drawings and assist PM with site observation and punch walk tasks.
• Multitasking ability to assist in the preparation and coordination of construction documents on two or more projects at same time.
• Perform Field verifications and produce as-built documentation.
