I. Essential Functions: | ||
The Supply Chain Manager will manage the end-to-end supply chain process for the site from order entry to finished goods shipment to maximize service, responsiveness, agility, and cost in line with customer expectations and the Indianapolis Plant budget. They play a crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. The Supply Chain Manager has overall responsibility for all aspects of customer service, planning and scheduling, logistics and materials management, as well as overall planning, management, and reporting across the supply chain for the site. | ||
II. Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities: | ||
The Supply Chain Manager will collaborate with supply chain managers at other sites as necessary, to optimize demand/capacity balancing, supply, and sourcing across the region. The Supply Chain Manager has a short to medium term planning and decision-making horizon of today through 1 year. They will manage a small number of direct reports, including the activities of customer service, planning / scheduling and logistics and materials management teams. The Supply Chain Manager will report directly to the Managing Director.
