Job Summary

We are seeking an associate that can drive 26" box truck's as well as install in the field full time. This skilled multitasker will assemble and install anything after dry wall such as furniture, art, draperies, etc. according to specifications, using hand tools and power tools for a variety of clients (i.e., model homes, interior designers, builders) located in the Atlanta area and surrounding states. Must be able to pass a DOT physical and have a valid driver’s license with good driving record. Ability to drive commercial box truck to and from job sites is a requirement. This associate must also support receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities of the warehouse when needed, ensuring that quality standards are met or exceeded. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented, has furniture experience and able to manage multiple facets of operations in the filed.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Responsible for packing and inspecting product, loading, and unloading product (i.e., furniture, rugs, art, mirrors, etc.) onto and off trucks and job sites.

· Delivering and installing all items to its final destination and moving the product to its designated area.

· Hanging art and draperies as needed by direction of the team lead and / or clients.

· Inspecting equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and contributing to client satisfaction.

· Maintaining accurate records about the product stored, rotated, and inventoried between the truck, job site and warehouse.

· Responding to requests to locate and retrieve items as need be.

· Ability to problem solve questions that may arise in the field and / or warehouse.

· Must be customers service oriented and willing to work in a team atmosphere.

· Ability to work in a warehouse to receive, unbox, assemble and load / unload product as need be.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED

· 1 year or more of installation, furniture and / or warehouse experience or equivalent experience.

· Clean background check

· Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record

· Effective communication skills, and working well with other team members.

· Commitment to customer service

· Physical stamina to assist with lifting/carrying 100 pounds or more.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

· Experience with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and logbooks is preferred

· License to operate a truck and forklift.

· Proficient with Microsoft applications is preferred.

· Willing to travel 15% of the year.
