MKS2 Technologies is Hiring a Business Intelligence Analyst Near Fort Knox, KY

The Business Intelligence Analyst (Expert) is responsible to analyze trends and identify outliers that could signal a problem. Using statistical analyses, like regression, correlation, and variance, you’ll uncover the unexpected within the expected patterns in our data. Plus, you’ll come up with the best ways to share the data in dashboards, presentations, and written reports---to suit the need and the audience. You’ll also help identify potential noncompliance that could be harmful to the organization.
Responsibilities
  • Monitors unemployment compensation data and statistical data from the DOL, conduct trend analysis to identify and correlate demographic employment sector and location trend
  • Research and analyze all-source data for employment sector and location trends derived from multiple data bases
  • Create and deliver monthly reports with summaries of data to key stakeholders
  • Design and delver quarterly presentation to report the results of analysis to key stakeholders
  • Ability to integrate new software and programs to data services
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Accounting or Data Analytics
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Data Management is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years in an analytical position
  • Active Secret Clearance is preferred
  • Capable of prioritizing multiple projects while still achieving deadlines
  • Experience working with SQL and MS SQL servers (SSIS/SSAS/SSRS) and other data management tools, Excel and Visual Basic for Applications, dashboard authoring
  • Excellent analytical and forecasting ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
