As a Sr. Product Specialist, New Product Introduction, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our optics and optical systems products. You will be working with cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with sales, design engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, and ensuring that our product portfolio aligns with market demands and customer needs. Your expertise in optics, optical assemblies, and systems will be critical in achieving our strategic objectives.

You Will Make an Impact By:

Product Lifecycle Management: Assigned tasks New Product Introduction phase of the product lifecycle, from concept and development to launch. Ensure products are optimized for performance, quality, and cost.

Customer Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and customers to gain a deep understanding of product requirements and identify latent needs, translating them into actionable product plans.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Interface with design engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to develop high-level product plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and capabilities.

Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges related to product development and implementation. Develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful product launches and ongoing performance.

Technical Expertise: Remain at the forefront of optics, optical assemblies, and systems technology and processes, continuously enhancing your knowledge base to inform product decisions.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Employ a data-driven approach to inform decision-making and problem-solving across all aspects of product management.

Skills You Bring:

*Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electronics, Optics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or other applicable technical fields.

*4 years of experience in engineering roles related to optics or photonics products including roles such as research, engineer, project engineer, supply chain engineering, etc. An advanced technical degree with applicable job experience may be considered.

*Experience in preparing dashboards and presentations for customers and executive-level management.

*Advanced MS Office Skills:

*Excel: Proficiency in advanced formulas and pivot tables.

*PowerPoint: Ability to create professional presentations suitable for executive-level discussions.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Pay Range: $78,400 to $145,600 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
