MKLG is Hiring a Part-time Immigration Paralegal Near Santa Ana, CA

Our Boutique Law Firm is looking to hire an experienced part-time Immigration Paralegal to join our existing top-notch team. Position can be in person or remote. If you're a passionate self-starter, our firm is an excellent place to get ahead. Don't hesitate to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with clients to provide case status updates
  • Prepare appropriate application/immigration forms
  • Effectively communicate with clients to assemble documentation and keep clients informed of case status· Prepare procedural information and document checklist for client· Escalate issues to attorney when necessary·
  • Manage cases effectively to make sure deadlines are met· Assist with initial client interview to obtain relevant case information, managing calendars for attorneys· Review translation done by translation agency·
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
  • Provide general administrative assistance, such as maintaining the attorney's calendar and making travel arrangements
  • in person.

Qualifications for Immigration Paralegal

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 2 years immigration experience required
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently, manage large workloads, and keep deadlines

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
