Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our medical professionals and ensuring the efficient operation of our practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical aesthetics or a related field, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Duties:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and treatments
- Obtain and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Administer injections and medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist with minor surgical interventions
- Conduct venipuncture and collect blood samples for laboratory testing as required.
- Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information in electronic health records systems
- Assist in scheduling patient appointments and manage the flow of patients in the office
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their concerns and answering their questions
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Previous experience working in a hospital or medical office setting is a plus
- Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional patient care
