We are looking for an experienced Sticker Printing Press Operator. This is an important role that requires someone with a strong background in Flexographic Printing.
As a Press Operator, you will operate various machines, including flexographic printing presses and application machines, to produce printed products in a safe and efficient manner. You will also be responsible for setting up machines according to the work ticket specifications, conducting quality checks to ensure that the final product meets all requirements, loading substrates onto the press, and collaborating with our internal graphics design team to maintain the highest quality control standards for our products.
Redesigning or creating customer designs, although not common, occur. Attention to detail is a must-have skill for this position.
Job Requirements:
- Operate flexographic printing presses and application machines
- Set up machines according to the work ticket specifications
- Conduct quality checks to ensure final product meets all requirements
- Load substrates onto the press
- Collaborate with internal graphic design team to maintain quality control standards
- Redesign or create customer designs as needed
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve
Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a Printing Press Operator with knowledge of flexographic printing
- Knowledge of various substrates and inks used in the sticker/label printing industry
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal graphic design team
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
