About the role:

Use Windchill (Product Life Cycle Management System) to manage drawing releases, revision control, bill of material (BOM) changes, and distribution of Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas (MLA) engineering documentation. Provide support to MLA teams for engineering documentation. Ensure all Engineering change orders/notices are processed in Windchill. Ensure Windchill and AS400 (Enterprise Resource Planning System) data are in sync. Create/update engineering processes documentation. Manage Current Product Investigation (CPI) log; follow up with engineers on status, generate reports, improve tool utilization and efficiency.

What you will do:

  • Create Change Notices in Windchill using EO template and/or communication from team engineers. Complete drawing upload, new part creation, Bill of Material entry, and revision changes.
  • Create and/or aid in creation of EO templates based on communication with team engineers, Windchill data, or drawings.
  • Administer Current Product Investigation (CPI) system. Create new CPI's based on communication from engineering, manufacturing, and/or purchasing. Update CPI's based on communication from engineering, manufacturing, and/or purchasing. Compile CPI status reports to aid with progress tracking and priority setting.
  • Maintain organization of Sharepoint folders used for drawing transfer between MLA and JH.

When & Where:

  • Office setting with interaction with factory and plant personnel.
  • Some travel may be required for training opportunities.


What you need to have:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 2-7 Years of experience related to business administration, data management, and/or engineering/technology.
  • Effective decision making, communication skills, root cause analysis and ability to work with highly technical cross functional teams.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, multiple tasks, and work well under pressure.
  • Engineering change management / bill of material experience.
  • Good customer service, team building, and time management skills.
  • Technical writing skills.
  • Daily work experience with Microsoft Office Suite of Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).

What would be nice to have:

  • 2-3 years in a manufacturing related field.
  • Engineering management system experience. Ideally Windchill.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (highly desired).
  • Microsoft Power BI experience.
  • Familiarization with engineering design processes and ability to innovate to improve administrative processes.
  • Ability to understand the complexity of BOMs across product models, and manage changes accordingly.
