Mitsubishi HC Capital America Inc is Hiring a VP of Front-End Applications Near Itasca, IL

 

This position will be located in Itasca, IL. 

Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the VP of Front-End Applications is partnering, directing, managing, and leading all activity with our software provider system SalesForce. This role provides management to Administration, Documentation, Testing, Supervising Custom Change Management, Managing the SalesForce Platform and supporting / leading all application development. This position will hire, develop, and motivate staff members. This position assists the SVP of IT Front-End Systems in setting direction, goals, and objectives around all SalesForce systems development efforts.

The Vice President of Front-End Applications will be instrumental in managing and leading the organizations SalesForce Product rollout, and continued development of the Company Integration Projects.

  • Leads the research and analytics around complex issues surrounding the Application Products
  • Makes recommendations surrounding improving processes, efficiency, and practices in using the software application.
  • Manages the simulation and testing of software custom improvements.
  • Communicates changes and may manage, direct, and supervise training to impacted business units.
  • Familiar with all SalesForce Product Suites and the Overall Software Structures
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to lead, plan, and accomplish goals.
  • Facilitates relevant IT Projects to ensure enhancements are consistent with business objectives.
  • Manage, lead, and direct the work of others.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Manage and Lead Special Projects dictated by the organization.
  • Manages, leads, and deliveries Portfolio Acquisition Integrations into the SalesForce Platform

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acts as Product Suite System Owner managing all daily adds / changes to system.
  • Manages technical expertise on available technologies and processes to improve quality, and customer satisfaction. 
  • Manage application development team, establish clear goals, motivate, and oversee coaching and career development.
  • Uses appropriate tools to manage problem determination and root cause analysis.
  • Illustrates bottlenecks, redundancies, vulnerabilities and opportunities for enhanced efficiency or effectiveness. 
  • Identifies strengths and weaknesses of existing software applications methods and tools. 
  • Presents findings and recommendations to business process owners and project teams.
  • Perform Managerial Duties for review and staff building activities.
  • Participates in JSOX Compliance Process
  • Participates in Internal Audit Projects

Qualifications:

  • Participates and manages continuous improvement of estimation and costing process.
  • Cost analysis and reduction

Competencies:

  • BS in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 15 years of work experience in a production environment
  • In depth understanding of production & inspection methods 
  • Strong math skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead teams.
  • Ability to work and manage multiple projects simultaneously and completing them on time.
  • Ability to read & interpret standards and specifications.
  • Ability to work well under pressure from deadlines.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
  • Able to build strong relationships with customers, vendors, employees, and management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is required.
  • Demonstrated proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Tools and Equipment Used:

  • Personal computer, copier, phone, and other typical office equipment

Working Hours:

  • Hours may vary; typically requires working 40 hours/week 
  • May require working overtime particularly at month-end and year end
  • May require working weekends to meet month-end, year-end, and filing deadlines

Travel:

  • Occasional travel related to attendance at training/ seminars held off site

Physical Demands:

  • Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment
  • Light lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc.
  • Ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees via phone or in person
  • Body motor skills sufficient to enable movement from one office location to another

The salary start at $192,400.00 - $212,00.00 with an opportunity for a discretionary annual bonus. 

The salary range is determined and based on internal equity, market data/ranges, applicant's skills, prior relevant experience, and education.
