A prestigious health system in hiring for X-Ray Technologists to join their team for a full time opportunity.

Responsibilities:
Obtain Radiographic Images of diagnostic quality, while adhering to departmental standards and protocols
Maintains a high quality standard of Imaging excellence in all areas of the radiology department
Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes
Prepares examination room, equipment, and instruments per patient needs
Operates x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort
Follows relevant safety and sanitation guidelines
Documents patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures
Demonstrates technical expertise, knowledge of anatomy, safety consciousness, manual dexterity, clerical accuracy, and verbal ability.
May be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include off-site diagnostic locations.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited radiation sciences or radiology technology program required
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification required
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required
