ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in innovative product development, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the creation of these cutting-edge streaming products. Your responsibilities encompass translating conceptual ideas into robust, scalable software solutions. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll engage in problem-solving to address technical challenges, ensuring optimal product performance while delivering the best user experiences.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Backend Development: Extend and create backend systems to ingest, marry, augment and surface data leveraging a variety of coding languages, services, tools and systems
Collaborative Problem-Solving: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges, ensuring optimal product performance and seamless user experiences
Code Quality and Efficiency: Drive code quality, efficiency, and maintainability by adhering to best practices, code reviews, and implementing efficient algorithms and data structures
Scalability and Reliability: Contribute to designing, optimizing, and maintaining systems to ensure scalability, reliability, and high availability, especially during high-traffic events
Document and diagram system designs and API contracts
Maintain and improve existing products incorporating analysis and feedback
Participate in product brainstorming sessions
Stay current on software development practices and the technology industry
Stay current on sports products, topics and trends
Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Software Expertise: Proficiency in software development with a strong grasp of API development, AWS services, caching strategies and software design principles. Additionally, proficient in C#, relational databases including SQL, .NET 6 , ASP.NET Web APIs.
Passion: Strong affinity for sports, statistics, big data, gambling, analytics and complex systems
Innovative Mindset: A passion for exploring new technologies and frameworks to improve product performance and elevate user experience.
Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work effectively within a team, contributing ideas and solutions while valuing collective success.

Self-Motivation: Hunger to master new technologies on a frequent basis
The Client is a globally distributed team; You'll need to be open to attending occasional meetings and/or trouble shooting sessions outside your normal work hours.

Role is for a Senior SWE (he defines as at least 6 years of backend SWE skills)
Tech stack is C#, .NET core, Restful API's, SQL SVR
Comp: $115k - $135k base 7.5% bonus
