Patrick Hyundai is seeking a goal driven candidate to join our team as a Product Specialist at our newly remodeled store in Schaumburg. The Product Specialist is often the first point of contact and are product experts capable of demonstrating vehicle features and answering questions a shopper or service customer might have. Product Specialists should have an engaging presence in the showroom and on the service drive. Ideal candidate will possess great communication skills highlighted with ability to providing superior customer service all leading to a truly exceptional sales experience for each customer...that's the Patrick Promise.

Responsibilities:

• Approach and greet customers both in showroom, sales lot and on the service drive.
• Ensure both shoppers and service customers have a premium experience.
• Assist customers in selecting perfect vehicle for their lifestyle and needs by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Explain and demonstrate vehicle features and product performance during test drive.
• Describe all optional equipment available for customer purchase that best suit needs.
• Assist new owners set up vehicle technology.
• Coordinate with Service Advisor how best to provide support on the service drive.
• Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of new/used vehicles.
• Build strong and trusting rapport with customers in showroom and on service drive.

Requirements:

• Previous dealership experience is a plus but an engaging personality goes a long way.
• Ability to learn and demonstrate vehicle features and/or ability to assist on service drive providing customer information assistance.
• Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday, eager to be primary source of information and ability to share information in an understandable way.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Possess strong communication skills.
• Must have a clean and valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employment.
