Misumi USA is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist Near Schaumburg, IL
- Making collection calls and follow up on past due with customers.
- Handling day-to-day customer credit evaluation, with the assistance of their manager
- Reviewing credit exposure for new and existing customers using analysis with D&B Reports and other data.
- Initiating reconciliation of disputed accounts receivable to resolve discrepancies in conjunction with both sales and customer service areas.
- Updating customer information in the system.
- Processing credit card payments using accounting systems.
- Dunning to customers & appropriate escalation on more serious matters
- Trouble-shooting outstanding issues on accounts
- Interacting with all Business Units, sales, customer service, finance, and other internal departments concerning credit and customer service issues.
- Some advanced schooling in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience working in a Credit / Collections department.
- An aptitude for numbers.
- MS Office Suite Skills including Outlook, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP.
- Strong problem solving & customer service skills.
- Organization skills with attention to detail & logical solutions to scenarios.
- Excellent communications and written skills.
