We’re currently seeking a Payroll Specialist II to join our Headquarters team! In this role you will have a solid understanding of payroll processing. You will be assisting the payroll team with daily functions and ensuring all deadlines are met. We are seeking a candidate that is organized, solution-oriented and provides excellent customer service. What you will do: Analyze and audit payroll data to include researching payroll discrepancies and payroll balancingReconcile and balance payroll data to import and output reportsCollaborate with Accounting, IT, and HR departments on company and team objectivesParticipate in daily and weekly payroll team processing, ensuring all deadlines are metProvide excellent customer service to all internal customers and stakeholdersIdentify and participate in process improvement objectives How you will shine:2 years’ related experienceIntermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel including, ability to write, read and understand advanced formulas, VLOOKUP, and Pivot TablesSuperior attention to detail and accuracy with a personal commitment to producing the highest quality workExperience in payroll processing to include understanding how to calculate employee and employer taxes, ability to read and understand payroll quarterly and annual returnsAbility to retain information quickly and adapt to immediate department needsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work well with those of varying skill levelsExcellent interpersonal skills and a team first oriented outlookCommitment to a solution-oriented approach to challenges and obstaclesExcellent organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple details and timelinesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong critical-thinking and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of basic accounting principles a plusKnowledge of garnishments a plusReport writing experience a plusCeridian Dayforce experience a plus
