Come work with us! We’re currently looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician.
Maintenance Technicians at Mister Car Wash are responsible for multiple site locations; this is a field service role. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for three to four sites. You’ll focus on completing maintenance tickets as well as working with the team on larger projects or troubleshooting issues when a wash is shut down.
Maintenance team members work 45-48 hours per week and if you live within 29 miles of a Mister Car Wash location, you may drive the company vehicle home. PTO starts on day one and accrues 2 weeks in the first year with 5 floating holidays.
What you will do:

• Perform basic equipment diagnosis for both electrical & mechanical issues.
• Must have an understanding and experience in all phases of 110-480 volt system with higher voltage experience preferred.
• Troubleshoot and repair all standard electrical components and detect minor equipment problems and correct them before they become major issues.
• Disassemble/reassemble equipment such as gearboxes, cylinders, pumps, valves, etc. and repair/replace worn or defective parts.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Troubleshoot PLC systems and other control systems and install wiring systems for power and control.
• Troubleshoot, install, and repair ac/dc motors, starters, relays, and drives.
• Welding and machining experience.
• Perform preventive maintenance. Clean and lubricate machinery. Inspect equipment operating conditions. Identify root causes of equipment problems.

How you will shine:

• The Ideal candidate will be either a graduate of an industrial apprenticeship program or 2-year technical school with at least 3 years industrial experience or have a minimum of 5 yrs. experience as a maintenance electrician/mechanic in an industrial manufacturing facility.
• The availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and on-call hours.
• Desire to be active outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• The ability to lift to 75 pounds, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, perform repetitive motions, see variations in color, and climb and work from ladders.
• Upon offer, selected candidates are required to complete a pre-hire background check and driving history review; Maintenance Technicians must maintain a valid driver’s license with no restrictions as a condition of employment.
