Design and Construction Management

• Prepare bidding documents, contracts, bonds, consultant agreements and change orders
• Enter contracts and agreements into construction management system
• Review budgets, reports and proposals for planning, design and construction activities
• Manage coordination and compliance of contract documents
• Review payment applications for contracts and agreements
• Create, process and receive purchase orders and payments for projects
• Manage insurance compliance of vendors/consultants
• Process and/or approve expenditures of materials, equipment, support staff and travel
• Represent unit to other administrators and outside agencies
• Participate on committees for development of work instructions, process efficiencies and administrative policies and procedures
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

• Three years contract and agreements experience
• Understanding of construction processes

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $16.82 - $20.00/hourly.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
