MOHELA is a not-for-profit student loan servicer. We are a contracted servicer with the Department of Education. We have been actively providing financial support and other support to Missouri's higher education programs for more than 40 years.

General Statement of Duties:
Responsible for the critical review, analysis and monitoring of Federal Student Aid’s (FSA) contract requirements, loan program regulations and applicable laws to ensure that MOHELA continually remains in compliance. Communicate information face to face, electronically and through the publication of Bulletins essential information or changes related to the regulations, requirements or FSA contract.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: 1 year of experience with MOHELA or similar student loan agency. Bachelor’s degree or some college coursework completed preferred. Knowledge of education loan processing and systems.
Language Ability: Proven written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret laws, regulations, requirements, procedures, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from individuals.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have personal computer knowledge. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Visio knowledge preferred.
Other Characteristics: Proven planning, coordination and organization skills, commitment to quality work, self-motivated, and good human relations skills. Ability to read, interpret and apply policy and regulations. Proven track record of working independently, team work, and the ability to adapt when working with others and their schedules. Ability to manage multiple complex projects.
