Missouri Association of Code Enforcement is Hiring a Building Inspector Near Hazelwood, MO
- Perform construction inspections during all phases of construction, alteration and repair for adherence to plans, specifications and compliance with City codes and ordinances
- Perform code compliance inspections of residential, commercial and industrial structures
- Perform commercial occupancy inspections
- Respond to inquiries and complaints from the public, contractors and builders
- Provide technical assistance and advice regarding building codes, laws and requirements
- Check business licenses and occupancy permits and takes appropriate action
- Perform disaster assessment inspections
- Maintain the Vacant Property Registration and Unfit Property lists
- Perform other related functions as required or assigned
