Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Service Advisor to join our team. The Service Advisor will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and acting as a liaison between customers and the service department.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their service needs
- Schedule service appointments and manage the service department's workflow
- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Provide estimates for services and repairs, explaining details to customers
- Recommend maintenance based on manufacturer guidelines and customer vehicle history
- Handle customer inquiries, issues, and complaints in a professional manner
- Utilize automotive diagnostics to understand vehicle issues
Skills:
- Experience in vehicle maintenance, preferably in a dealership setting
- Knowledge of auto service management and sales techniques
- Proficiency in service writing and understanding of automotive diagnostics
- Familiarity with diesel engine repair and tire services is a plus
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
