Job Description: Hospital Staff Pharmacist
SHIFT: MONDAY THRU FRIDAY WITH 1 IN 3 CALL
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION
Our hospital is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a Hospital Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all medications are dispensed safely and accurately to our patients. Your primary duties will include:
Responsibilities:
- Dispensing medications according to physician orders
- Checking medication orders for accuracy and completeness
- Compounding medications as needed
- Monitoring patients for potential drug interactions and adverse reactions
- Providing drug information to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements
- Master's Degree in Pharmacy required (Pharm.D. preferred)
- Current state license to practice pharmacy
- Strong understanding of the major pharmaceutical computer software platforms
- 2 years' experience working as a Pharmacist
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service abilities
