Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Senior Regional Finance Manager to serve as a strategic business partner to our Field Operations team. This role involves collaborating with regional operations teams to provide financial insights, analysis, and support for informed decision-making. 

The Senior Regional Finance Manager will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, monitoring performance metrics, and working closely with field teams to drive financial success. This position requires a combination of financial acumen, business partnering skills, a deep understanding of financial modeling, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner. 

Travel required: less than 25% 

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:  

  • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Collaborate with field operations teams to develop, analyze, and update financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans. 
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to improve operational and financial performance. 
  • Budget Management: Work with field managers to develop and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with overall corporate financial goals and objectives. 
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed cost analysis and identify areas for cost optimization, collaborating with field operations to implement efficiency measures. 
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses to field operations and senior leaders. 
  • Business Partnering: Act as a liaison between the finance department and field operations, providing financial expertise and support for decision-making. 
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and modeling to support special projects and initiatives to support the Field Operations team. 
  • Forecasting and Trend Analysis: Monitor market trends, industry benchmarks, and economic factors to provide proactive insights and recommendations.

Additional Functions: 

  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Strong business and financial acumen including proficiency in data analytics, financial modeling, and forecasting 
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail 
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Word skills; Expert Microsoft Excel skills  
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, including the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders 
  • Significant experience in cost management and process/continuous improvement 
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, with a preference for experience with advanced analytics platforms 
  • Collaborative approach with a bias for action 
  • Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines in an open, results-oriented culture 

Required Education and Experience: 

  • 10 years of progressive finance and FP&A experience 
  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 

Preferred Education and Experience: 

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation
  • Prior experience acting as a business unit finance leader, business partner, or finance manager
