Mt. McKinley Animal Hospital in Fairbanks, Alaska is hiring an additional Associate Veterinarian to primarily service our exotic patients!

Mt. McKinley Animal Hospital is a fast-paced small animal veterinary practice in Fairbanks, Alaska. We believe in providing gold-standard medicine for the pets in our community. We are proud to be an AAHA-accredited practice and have Fear-Free certified team members. We offer care 7 days a week, providing preventative care, daytime emergency services, urgent care services, exotic medicine, surgical procedures, dental care, highly skilled technicians to manage intensive care patients, full diagnostics lab on-site, digital radiology, acupuncture, laser therapy, endoscopy, and services from specialists for ophthalmology and cardiology in hospital.

Our goal is to find a veterinarian who is interested in primarily treating a wide range of exotic patients. About Fairbanks, AK: Fairbanks is located in the interior of Alaska. At 65 degrees north latitude, the views of the sky are something that can only be experienced. The summers give us the midnight sun or 24 hours of sunlight. In the winter, the dark skies are lit up by the northern lights. We are surrounded by mountains, lakes, rivers, wildlife, and endless nature that brings solitude. Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-6pm, Saturdays 8:30am-5pm, Sundays 9am-4pm

Requirements:

• All experience levels considered
• Licensed Alaska Veterinarian (active and clear)
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and collaborate with team members
• Ability to work a rotational weekend schedule
