The Resident Manager position is a part-time, live-on-site role that is responsible for the overall condition and environment of the building in which they reside. This position requires exacting attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, phenomenal communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities seamlessly. To succeed in the role, the candidate must be self-motivated, organized, value over communication, and have the ability to learn quickly. Compensation for this position is by providing highly reduced or free housing in the building you're assigned to as a Resident Manager- occupancy rules apply.
Primary Job Duties:
Perform daily inspections of the property and its grounds (~6 days a week)
Perform light maintenance and cleaning
Ensure the property operates in accordance with set policies and procedures
Act as a liaison between the Property Manager and the residents
Receive maintenance requests from residents, verify work, and coordinate vendors
Monitor work to ensure maintenance items are completed timely and professionally
Schedule, coordinate, and monitor all move-ins and move-outs of the designated property
Enforce all rules, policies, and procedures relating to the property
Coordinate access to the property for vendors promptly and professionally
Notify Property Manager once emergency services have been contacted
Requirements:
Previous experience as a resident manager, or property ownership with hands on maintenance, or experience working for a property management company strongly preferred
Possess a strong sense of ownership, extremely detail oriented and results driven
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
COMPENSATION:
Commensurate with building size and complexity - includes partial to full rent credit, overtime paid based upon minimum wage
