JOB TITLE:MARKETING ASSOCIATE

JOB SUMMARY

The position of Marketing Associate assists Sales and Marketing team members in Mission global marketing efforts. The Marketing Associate responsibilities include, but are not limited to, tradeshow and event planning and management, maintaining booth and sales materials, controlling marketing materials and collateral, organizing marketing assets on the asset sharing platform. Weekly email distribution and social posting of approved content, including metric reporting. This role covers daily administrative tasks to ensure the Marketing department runs smoothly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate trade show logistics and planning for domestic, customer and international teams including team registration, material handling and product delivery, team communication and document management; travel domestically up to 25% of the time.
  • Organize and keep inventory of all tradeshow/booth materials including booth structure, banners, and display materials.
  • Work with Comm Manager to coordinate production of sales & marketing collateral, such as product sheets, one-pagers, booklets, brochures, digital artwork, campaign assets, and other promotional materials.
  • Coordinate distribution of regular email campaigns according to approved Marketing Calendar.
  • Maintain premium inventory to share with team.
  • Develop social media content for Mission preferred social media channels, aligned with Marketing Calendar, coordinate post-scheduling and report on engagement monthly.
  • Support Comm Manager with Quarterly Mission Bell production.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to brand guidelines and trademarks across all marketing materials and activities. 
  • Maintain library of branded assets, including photography, images, design elements, logos, and more.
  • Participate in multiple projects simultaneously and work independently – requires ability to prioritize, monitor time and multi-task.
  • Perform department administrative tasks, such as annual calendar production and distribution, consumer response, shipping, billing & purchasing, material ordering, and other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in coordinating all details of tradeshow and event activations, including catering, team registration,
  • Experience with social media scheduling and email marketing platforms, Sprout Social and/or MailChimp.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Illustrator and Canva.
  • Eye for design and a creative mindset.
  • Ability to manage and collaborate with cross-functioning teams.
  • Ability to take initiative and own projects from start to finish.
  • High degree of organization and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate a professional attitude at company events and in the midst of competing priorities.
