Mission Hills Luxury Apartments has an immediate opening for a full-time Leasing Agent.

Position Overview:

This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and leasing duties to our current and prospective residents at our 556-unit residential community at Mission Hills Luxury Apartments. As a Leasing Agent, you will become the face of our property and the key liaison between the management team and our current and prospective renters. We’re looking for a friendly, motivated team player, and dependable self-starter who has previous experience and can offer competent service to our renters. The work schedule will include three weekdays from 9 am-6 pm, Saturday and Sunday 10 am-5 pm. Mission Hills offers a robust benefits package, with paid vacation and sick time.

Leasing Agents Job Responsibilities and Duties:

· Greet and tour prospective residents

· Qualify potential residents, verify applications, perform credit checks, and create all associated documentation to accompany the rental agreements

· Prepare and execute leases in accordance with our property standards and regulations

· Acquaint the new residents with leasing documentation, property rules and policies, apartment functions and emergency procedures to ensure resident satisfaction upon move in

· Collect application fees, security deposits, and rent payments

· Coordinate property maintenance and entering of work orders

· Assist in renewal workflow and general office tasks

· Responsible for taking a proactive role in the preparation and maintenance of current resident files, along with supporting the marketing functions of the property through recording accurate data on prospects, tours, sources, and new residents

· Represent Mission Hills in the highest regard, both in positivity and professionalism

· Support community efforts to maintain property management expectations

Leasing Agent Qualifications and Skills:

· 1 Years-experience in property management leasing or sales related positions

· Highschool diploma/GED required (associate degree preferred, but not mandatory)

· Working knowledge of eviction law, Fair Housing mandates, and other legal issues affecting property management

· Top-notch customer service

· Ability and desire to have effective communication, both verbally and written
