What you'll do: * Provide subject matter expertise, in regard to development, to the team and the customer
* Research, design, test, evaluate, and implement technologies related to Kubernetes, containerization and other infrastructures
* Work on the core platform to create and optimize all functions needed to establish a strong platform infrastructure
* Collaborates with the team and the customer daily
What you'll need to succeed: Minimum of 8 years of experience as a software developer or engineer * Minimum of 3 years' experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, K8, and CI/CD Automation
* A bachelor's degree and an active TS/SCI security clearance * Experience with software development languages such as .NET, Java, Python, and Go; as well as experience working in a DevSecOps environment
* Experience working with Source Code repositories and CI/CD pipeline solutions such as Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, and GitHub
* Experience with container orchestration tools (Rancher, OpenShift, etc.)
* Ability to work well on a team as well as individually
* Ability to work in downtown Washington, DC on client-site 5 days per week.
