As a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) within our healthcare team, you will be dedicated to providing professional nursing care, prioritizing the comfort and well-being of our patients. Your role involves preparing equipment and assisting physicians during examinations and treatments, administering prescribed medications, changing dressings, cleaning wounds, and vigilantly monitoring patient vital signs. Maintaining accurate records on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress is essential to ensure comprehensive and personalized healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care with a focus on patient comfort and overall well-being.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor patient vital signs.
• Observe and meticulously maintain records on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress.
• Actively participate as a primary nurse, associate nurse, team member, or team leader in the planning and implementation of patient care.
• Direct and assist in the implementation of safe aseptic techniques and procedures.
• Provide leadership and guidance to support staff within the department.

Must Have's:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Proficient in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
• One year of nursing experience.
• Current Texas State RN License.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• NIHSS certification is required within 90 days of hire/transfer date.

Salary: BASED ON EXPERIENCE $28.50 - $46.40
