As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our dynamic healthcare setting, you will play a crucial role in providing professional nursing care to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients. Your responsibilities include preparing equipment, assisting physicians during examinations and treatments, administering prescribed medications, changing dressings, cleaning wounds, and closely monitoring vital signs. Your commitment to observing and maintaining accurate records on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress is integral to our patient-centered approach.

Recognized as an Accredited Chest Pain Center and featuring an Accredited Joint Commission Stroke Team, our client's commitment to excellence is at the forefront of our healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care with a focus on patient comfort and well-being.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
• Observe and maintain records on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress.
• Participate as a primary nurse, associate nurse, team member, or team leader in planning and implementing patient care.
• Direct and assist in carrying out safe aseptic techniques and procedures.
• Provide leadership and guidance to support staff within the department.

Must Have's:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• One year of nursing experience.
• Current Texas State RN License.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire/transfer date.

Unit Specific Must Have's:

• Ssh Icu/Micu (A3), Ssh Coronary Oth (A4), Ssh Cardio Icu (Cvicu), Ssh Icu/Micu 3 & Ssh Trauma Icu: NIHSS required within 90 days of hire/transfer date.
• Ssh Icu/Micu (A3), Ssh Cardio Icu (Cvicu) & Ssh Icu/Micu 3: EKG within 90 days of hire/transfer date.
• Ssh Trauma Icu: TNCC required within 18 months of hire/transfer date.
• Ssh Trauma Icu: ENPC or PALS required within 18 months of hire/transfer date.

Salary: BASED ON EXPERIENCE $28.50 - $46.40
