Job Summary:

The candidate will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise in support of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the Army's Zero Trust (ZT) efforts. The successful candidate will be required to align ZT efforts with Federal, DoD, and Army strategic planning and guidance documents and ensure ZT planning, and execution occur across multiple pillars within the infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of DoD's ZT pillars, capabilities, activities, and outcomes as outlined by the DoD ZT Portfolio Management Office (PfMO).
• Research and recommend approaches that ensure the Army's ZT planning, and execution occur across multiple pillars within the infrastructure.
• Lead the Army's ZT strategic policy and guidance development and publishing to ensure directives reflect technology advancements and facilitate the Army ZT maturity evolution.
• Align ZT efforts with Federal, DoD, and Army strategic planning and guidance documents such as EO 14028, National Defense Authorization Act for FY 2022, OMB M-22-09, NMM-2022-01, Army Unified Network Plan (AUNP), Army Digital Transformation Strategy (ADTS), DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture v2.0, DoD ZT Strategy and Roadmap, and NIST SP 800-207, Zero Trust Architecture.
• Track and report on ZT roadmap progress, identify risks and issues, and recommend remediation actions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to ensure ZT policies and procedures align with the Army's mission and objectives.

Requirements

 Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information technology, or related field.
• Expertise in Zero Trust architecture, principles, and methodologies.
• Knowledge of Federal, DoD, and Army strategic planning and guidance documents.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
