The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for general facility maintenance for Misfits Market in accordance with company standards. Assists in the Installation, troubleshooting and repair of complex equipment and distribution systems, involving work of a varied nature; resulting in efficient operation of plant facilities.

You Are:

• 18 Years Old
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1-3 years production manufacturing experience preferred
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check

You Will: 

• Performs basic preventative maintenance on Misfits Market manufacturing support equipment and facilities
• Performs simple assembly tasks
• Works with outside contractors as needed
• Identifies replacement/spare parts as needed
• Responsible for properly lubricating equipment
• Must have basic working knowledge of complex equipment, and plant machinery
• Installs and rearranges complex equipment under the guidance of a Maintenance Technician or the Maintenance Manager.
• Dismantles, repairs and reassembles complex equipment under the guidance of a Maintenance Technician or the Maintenance Manager.
• Performs work in mechanical skills area such as fabrication, assembly
• Performs electrical work such as removing and replacing motors, fuses
• Completes routine paperwork such as filling out PM work orders, recording inspection results, logging emergency work orders in the CMMS, recording parts used from inventory stores and recording necessary readings in CMMS
• Complete work orders in a timely manner
