JOB SUMMARY

The Food Runner position requires an individual who works well in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and deliver the correct items to the Server in a timely fashion.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Deliver food orders to the Server in multiple areas of the Club and Pool area
• Uphold sanitation and food safety principles.
• Assist in the bussing of tables.
• Maintain communication with management, kitchen staff, and service staff to ensure dining details are handled properly
• Provide Members on dining options and general Club information
• Take soiled tableware to dish room and unload dishes and glassware in designated areas
• Assist setting up tables before and after service both in an ala carte and banquet setting
• Performs other assignments and projects as required by the Food & Beverage Manager.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Great attitude and highly self-motivated.
• Possess the ability to multi task in a fast- paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid food handler’s certification required

LICENSES AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Food safety certification.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
• Must be able to continuous repetitive motions.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a busy, noisy environment.
• Must be able to handle working conditions which may be cold, hot, humid, wet/slippery.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
