Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by providing personalized care and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

- Prepare meals and assist with cutting to appropriate sizes
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing living spaces
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
- Escort clients to appointments, social events, and outings
- Monitor and report changes in client's health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor
- Respect and uphold the rights of residents, ensuring their dignity and privacy are maintained
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as social workers and nurses, to ensure the best possible care for clients

Skills:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration and first aid procedures
- Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professionalism
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Understanding of resident rights and commitment to upholding them
- Familiarity with assisted living or nursing home environments is a plus
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle emergencies calmly and efficiently

-Ability to drive a 12 passenger van is a plus but not a requirement

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.53 - $14.14 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 12 per week
